SITMA is founded.
Offices and plant are located in downtown Spilamberto, close to the local railway station.

1968
SITMA builds their own offices and plant of 2,000 sqmts. over a land of 24,000 sqmts.

1972
SITMA expands offices and plant to 5,000 sqmts. over a land of 24,000 sqmts.

1976
SITMA expands further. Total covered surface is now 9,000 sqmts.

1979
SITMA establishes subsidiary company SITMA FRANCE in Vaux-Le-Penil, Melun Cedex. Total covered surface is 1,800 sqmts on land of 10,000 sqmts.

1980
SITMA establishes its subsidiary company in America.
SITMA U.S.A. is located in River Edge, N.J.

1982
SITMA again expands its original offices and plant.
Offices and plant have a total covered surface of 14,000 sqmts on a land of 24,000 sqmts.

1989
SITMA FRANCE extends its offices and plant. Total covered area is now 4,000 sqmts on a land of 20,000 sqmts.

1990
SITMA purchases land of 63,000 sqmts across from the current location for future expansion.

1991
SITMA moves its U.S. operations from River Edge, NJ. SITMA builds offices and plant in Saint Paul, MN. Total covered surface of 1,600 sqmts on a land of 10,000 sqmts.

1999
SITMA U.S.A. completes 1,700 sqmts expansion. Total covered surface is now 3,300 sqmts.

1999
SITMA establishes its subsidiary company in Japan.
SITMA JAPAN K.K. is located in Tokyo.

2003
In order to maintain and reinforce world leadership, Sitma announces plans to build a new office facility and hi-tech factory.


2005 In November SITMA moves to new premises. The new facility is built on a land of 63,000 sqmts and has a covered surface of 6,300 sqmts for offices and 10,500 sqmts for the plant.
